The parole committee convened to discuss the release of Simona Mori, who was convicted in 1998 of her husband's murder. Dozens of demonstrators are outside the Ramla Magistrate's Court.
Mori allegedly suffered from ongoing abuse that included knives and "target shooting". She has been serving 22 years in prison after being sentenced to 28 years.
