United States envoy Jason Greenblatt has denied a report citing him as saying in closed meetings that the political situation in Israel would force the US administration to rethink whether its peace plan for Israel and the Palestinian Authority as it has been formulated so far is appropriate under the new circumstances.
Another senior United States official told Arutz Sheva on Sunday that the results of the election and the uncertainty they create in Israel will cause a significant delay in the publication of the political portion of the plan.
