Likud: No to government that leans on anti-Israel Arab parties

The Likud Party has reacted to the decision of the Joint List or predominantly Arab parties to recommend Benny Gantz as prime minister by saying, "As we warned: The Arab parties that oppose Israel as a Jewish and democratic state and glorify terrorists are recommending Benny Gantz to be prime minister."

A party statement continued, "The Likud will make every effort to establish a stable and strong government committed to Israel as a Jewish and democratic state. It is forbidden to establish a government that relies on Arab parties that oppose the State of Israel."
