A fire that broke out over the weekend at the Hagal Landfill site near the Sea of Galilee led to increased emissions of dangerous particles into the air. Fire crews have not yet gained control of the fire.
The Environmental Protection Ministry issued an administrative order to site operators and initiated an enforcement process.
