New State Comptroller Matanyahu Engelman has decided that the Comptroller's Office is changing direction: Education and health systems will henceforth be at the center of audit reports, it was reported this morning on Galei Tzahal.

It was also decided that in addition to reviewing documents and questioning office holders, which have so far been the main means of action with the audited bodies, the use of public collaboration - ie. questionnaires and satisfaction surveys of educational and medical institutions will be expanded. The scope of visits by field auditors (in medical centers and schools) will also increase.
