White House envoy Jason Greenblatt met with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu Friday morning, Channel 13 reported.
Greenblatt arrived in Israel Thursday, days after Israel's second general election of 2019, which resulted in a deadlocked Knesset, with neither the Right nor Left able to reach the 61 seats necessary to form a government.
According to reports Thursday, Greenblatt will meet with Blue and White party chairman Benny Gantz, Netanyahu's rival for the premiership, during Greenblatt's visit to Israel.
