Israel Railways is progressing to the last alignment towards operating a full rail service on the track from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv.
For the sake of completing the high-speed connection to the power grid and , next week's changes in train traffic will only take place between 10:00 PM - 4:30 AM
Electric, engineering and power tests will enable rains to run on the line as planned at the end of the year instead of like now where one must switch trains at Ben Gurion Airport. The works will also allow for an increase in the number of passengers on the line and trains and the extension of operating hours for the line. The
works are scheduled for next week Monday to Friday (23-27.9.19), and for this to happen, temporary changes will occur at stations in Tel Aviv, Ben Gurion Airport, and Lod, all of this at night only, from 10 :00 PM to 4: 30 AM.
