A one-day general warning strike began at the Pelephone cellular telephone service, early Thursday afternoon.
The Histadrut Labor Federation said the action is due to the bursting of negotiations by the union and employee representation with management, following management's demands to close units in the company, to dismiss employees and to make further organizational changes unilaterally. The Histadrut is examining additional measures.
