Minister Ze'ev Elkin (Likud) made clear on Tuesday night that Binyamin Netanyahu is the party's candidate for Prime Minister.

"To all those who are rejoicing on the left and who are trying to intervene and dictate to the Likud movement who should lead it, you should internalize a few things - the Likud is a democratic party (among the last in the State of Israel) and Netanyahu is the elected chairman of the Likud and our prime ministerial candidate," he said.
