Justice Hanan Melcer, chairman of the Central Election Commission, dismissed the Shas party's petition against the Tiv Tam company which they claimed distributed a video that constituted election propaganda.
"The video that is the subject of the petition is borderline in terms of its legality but does constitute an offense and therefore I rejected the petition to remove the video," the judge ruled.
MK Moshe Arbel, deputy chairman of the Shas Central Election Commission, said: "The judge's decision must is greatly regretted, it allows the continuation of hatred and incitement under the guise of business activity."
