Jordan's Supreme Court approved Jordan's natural-gas agreement with Israel on Monday, ruling that additional approval from the Jordanian parliament was not necessary, according to Yediot Ahronot.
The agreement was reviewed by the court after widespread protests in Jordan. The court ruled, "This is an agreement between two companies, whose contracts do not touch on aspects of the law that would require parliamentary approval."
