Report: Netanyahu backed off from Gaza attack after AG opinion

Haaretz newspaper reported this morning that Prime Minister Netanyahu planned to embark on a broad military operation in the Gaza Strip last week - but was halted following the opinion of the attorney general, who determined that the decision should be approved by the Cabinet.
