Minister Uri Ariel asked Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz and Israeli Ambassador to Germany Jeremy Issacharoff to act to remove bottles of wine containing pictures of Nazi leader Adolph Hitler from the shelves of food chains in Germany.
Ariel wrote, "We as a people must denounce this phenomenon and eradicate it in every possible way. I see this as a direct violation not only of the dignity of the victims, but also of the Holocaust survivors and their families."
