Charges have been filed with the military court, charging two recently-released military police officers with false reports, failure to carry out orders and inappropriate conduct.
The indictment indicates that the two did not report any mental distress identified by a soldier whom they had sought to recruit as a source for the military police investigative unit. The soldier was found shot outside his unit a few days after meeting with the accused. Certain command and organizational aspects are still being examined.
