National Security Advisor Ben Shabbat is meeting at this hour with with United States Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Sigal Mandelker, according to the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation.
Their meeting is being held in light of the possibility of a thaw in the US crackdown on Iran, and on the other, the US announcement this week of new sanctions on Hamas and the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.
