The British government responded to the Prime Minister's declaration of his intention to apply sovereignty to the Jordan Valley after the elections.
"We are concerned about moves to annex some of the occupied Palestinian territories. Such a move would be against international law and would hamper efforts to bring peace," the governments statement said.
