In a post on Twitter, Minister Yoav Galant (Likud) responded to Prime Minister Netanyahu's announcement, writing:
"Applying Israeli sovereignty in the Jordan Valley is first and foremost an answer to Israel's vital security needs. Only voting for Likud will allow the establishment of the right-wing government led by Benyamin Netanyahu, with national bases that will also allow the exercise of sovereignty in the Jordan Valley."
