In a post on Twitter, MK Sharron Haskell (Likud) responded to Prime Ministers announcement that he would apply sovereignty to the Jordan Valley, writing:
"I congratulate the Prime Minister for his decision to apply sovereignty over the Jordan Valley. It is a joyful and exciting declaration. I advanced the bill to apply Israeli law in the 20th Knesset, and I have been progressing towards this for years. This is an integral part of the Land of Israel and it is the first and essential step in applying Israeli law to all Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria."
