The Democratic Union Party has petitioned Election Committee Chairman Hanan Melcer, demanding a ban on the direct transmission of an announcement by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu that the Likud Party says will be dramatic.
The Democratic Union claimed that "a news conference, a week before the election, live and direct, is prohibited propaganda," notting that "in previous election campaigns, the news conferences were broadcast with a 10-minute delay."
