Chairman Hanan Melcer of the Central Election Committee has rejected a compromise proposed by deputies David Bitan from the Likud Party and Moshe Arbel from the Shas Party regarding cameras in polling places.
The two propsed increasing the security system on Election Day and hold a pilot program to photograph voters' identification cards.
