Meirav and Herzl Hajaj, the parents of the late Lieutenant Shir, who was murdered in an attack in Armon Hanatziv, and members of the "Bochrim Bachayim Forum" of bereaved families accompanied by the "Im Tirtzu" movement, reacted to the High Court decision regarding the bodies of the terrorists.
"It is absurd that the Israeli government has to wait for the findings of the High Court judges to implement a basic and normative security policy in order to protect the security of its citizens. At the same time, even when the High Court judges support its policy, the Israeli government must create a real deterrent against terrorism."
