A survey for the Knesset television channel, released on Thursday, said the Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was best suited to be Israel's leader with 34 percent, followed by Blue and White Party Chairman Benny Gantz with 24 percent.

Seven percent supported Netanyahu's fellow Likudnik Gid'on Saar, while six percent voted for the Blue and White's Gabi Ashkenazi. Blue and White's Yair Lapid and Yisrael Beytenu each got two percent. 16 percent said none of them and nine percent did not know.
