Israel filed a complaint to the United Nations Security Council on Tuesday through the Israeli ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, stating that "Hezbollah's terrorist attack was carried out from an area under UNIFIL's mandate ... with the aim of undermining regional stability" .
The Israeli ambassador warned that "the Hezbollah terrorist attacks and its backing from the Lebanese government could wreak havoc on Lebanon."
