Border Police detectives found 15 allegedly illegal firearms, including seven handguns and eight rifles, among them sniper rifles during a search of a home in a Samarian community.
Also found were a large number of ammunition boxes containing thousands of bullets of various calibers, scopes, silencers and stun grenades. A suspect in his forties was arrested at the scene and the police will seek to extend his detention tomorrow at the Hadera Magistrates Court.
