Upper Galilee Council head: Very large default here

Mayor of the Upper Galilee Regional Council, Giora Salz, this morning in an interview with Galei Tzahal criticized the government, which he says is not implementing the multi-year northern defense plan, which was scheduled to begin last January.

"There is a very large default here. Only in my council there are 8,000 households, 3000 of which have no protected spaces," said Salz. He explained his decision not to open shelters by saying: "When it is the line of confrontation, there is no time to reach the protected space. Running to it can cost life."
