Spokesman Ronen Manelis of the Israel Defense Forces said, Sunday evening, that most of the security restrictions in the Lebanese border area have been lifted, meaning residents living near the border were no longer required to stay in their homes and close to protected spaces.
Agricultural work is still not permitted in the immediate proximity of the security fence. The brigadier general said, "The IDF continues to maintain a high level of readiness - defensive and offensive- for a wide range of scenarios."
