The Israel Defense Forces have told people living within four kilometers of the Lebanese border to stay in their homes until an alarm is sounded, but when hearing an alarm, they should stay in a protected space for 10 minutes and wait for additional instructions.

In the case of buses and other vehicles that are in a locality, the passengers must be lowered as calmly as possible in coordination with the security chief in the most protected area closest to the vehicle. Vehicles on main roads should stop safely on the side of the road and drop off passengers, who should lie on the ground.
