Secretary-General of the Teachers' Union, Yaffe Ben David, addressed the Labor Court's request for the state to issue restraining orders against the school's September 1 strike.

"The Finance ministry continues to drag its feet. From the day I took up the position I have been negotiating with the Finance ministry. They have had years to solve this and they choose to drag their feet."

"I will not sign any agreement until I know that all teaching staff will receive what they deserve. I appeal to the tribunal on behalf of all teaching staff in Israel. Include all the extremists. Without a strike against the Finance ministry, there would be no incentive to reach consensus, ”said Ben David.
