Egypt threatened Hamas that it would stop acting as a mediator in contacts with Israel if the rocket fire from Gaza continued, Egyptian officials told Al Arabiya on Tuesday.
According to the report, Egypt was furious at the rocket fire from Gaza while a Hamas delegation was in Cairo. It was also reported that the Egyptians warned Hamas against fighting Israel in the service of Hezbollah and Iran.
