IDF confirms: We responded to Gaza rocket fire

In a post on Twitter, the IDF confirmed that it responded to rocket fire from the Gaza Strip writing:

"A mortar shell was fired from Gaza into Israel. In response, we targeted a Hamas military post in Gaza."
