Twenty residents of the central Israeli Arab city of Tayibe have completed the Magen David Adom emergency service's first courses for emergency medical paramedics ambulance drivers to be offered in the city.

They will be added to MDA's volunteers in the city. MDA CEO Eli Bin told a ceremony marking the occasion, "This is a significant addition to shortening the response and arrival times for patients in the city of Tayibe, where more than 40,000 residents live."
