The Tel Aviv Municipality has announced it will stop enforcing parking on sidewalks painted red-and-white at night, following a protest from Tel Aviv residents who were furious at the city's decision to enforce private-vehicle-parking offenses.
Channel 12 News reports that enforcement against vehicles blocking sidewalks will continue, with the aim of increasing pedestrian safety.
