Attorneys for the Israel Women's Network have welcomed the decision of the Haifa District Court to cancel an appearance for haredi men scheduled for Monday.
Noting the public funding and public facility where the event was scheduled to take place, the attorneys said, "Equality is the lifeblood of a public administration system. Women are not and will not be second class citizens in Israel."
