IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi has instructed members of the General Staff Forum not to conduct operations in units on September 1 until 11:00 a.m., with the exception of operational and urgent activities that cannot be postponed.
This is to allow parents who serve in the IDF to accompany their children to schools and kindergartens on the first day of school.
