Israel has transferred NIS 2 billion to the Palestinian Authority in recent days, Palestinian Authority sources told Kan.
According to the sources, the money is intended to help the PA deal with the heavy budget deficit in light of the fact that it refuses to accept the tax money that Israel levies for it after offsetting payments to terrorist families.
