After a year and a half of work, the construction of the Nachal Kidron drainage tunnel was recently completed as part of work for the bringing of Highway 90 up to standard, led by the transportation unit of the Civil Administration for Judea and Samaria, carried out by the Netivei Israel highway-construction company.
The work was prompted by the collapse of portions of the road in the past due to flooding.
