Yamina Chairwoman and former Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked responded to the Supreme Court injunction to appoint a new Justice Ministry Director General.
"It's a great absurdity that over the years during Supreme Court elections the Attorneys General tied the government. It explicitly states in the law that the government will continue functioning during an election period.
"Over the years, as a result of Supreme Court and Attorney General ropes on the government's arms and legs, we have come to a situation where ministers cannot move in office."
She said this at a press conference held in Elkana today to launch the Yamina housing program.
