Minister of Transport Bezalel Smotrich (Yemina) responded to Chief Rabbi David Lau's decision to delay the funeral of the mother of a man who has refused to grant his wife a divorce for over 10 years.
'' I support Rabbi Lau and the Chief Rabbinate in the fight against divorce refusals. This is the kind of thing that only a state chief rabbinate can do. We will keep it as such and with gods help promote its development, "said Smotrich.
