A Hamas official has told the Lebanese newspaper Al-Ahbar that Gaza factions have conveyed a message to mediators that if Israel does not implement understandings from previous escalations and increase the electricity supply to Gaza, parallel to the infusion of Qatari money, by the end of the week, a new escalation will begin.
The source added that Hamas renewed its call for mediators to press Israel to implement the understandings as soon as possible due to the "boiling situation in the Gaza Strip", which he said could lead to the return of "independent actions" and infiltration in the area of the security fence.
