The Democratic Union has welcomed the Petach Tikva Police's decision to partially freeze restrictions on protests against the attorney general near his home.
A statement by the faction said, "The right of citizens to demonstrate is a fundamental right in democracy." It also said, "Citizens who demonstrate are concerned citizens who demand the state to be better than it is. Citizens who oppose corruption and are prepared to fight for it are a shining example of great Israeli patriotism and the people of Israel owe them a great debt."
