A demonstration by residents of Lod the noise of flights at Ben-Gurion Airport has been called for Tuesday morning at 8:00 at the Lod Gate entrance square to the airport near the El Al Junction.
Calling on Lod residents to turn out for the protest, Mayor Yair Revivo said, "If individuals come, it means that it is not at the top of your priorities. If hundreds and thousands arrive, then the responsible officials in the Transportation Ministry will understand that it is a serious nuisance that must be addressed immediately."
