Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman and Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon appointed, Sunday, the balance of the 21-member committee that will determine how 900 requests for half a billion shekels worth of drugs and other treatments will be prioritized for government subsidies in 2020.
The appointment of Hadassah Hospital Director-General Ze'ev Rotstein to chair the committee was announced last week. The Health Ministry will have three representatives, while the Treasury will have two. There will also be representatives from other government offices, hospitals, health funds, doctors, nurses, emergency services, industry, academia.
