Fire crews have obtained control of the fire between Bekoa and Kibbutz Nachshon, keeping it from reaching the first line of houses and the access road to Kibbutz Nachshon.
A fire and rescue officer from Beit Shemesh Station commended them, noting severe weather conditions, including winds that caused significant jumps by the blaze.
