The Histadrut Labor Federation has declared a national labor dispute with the Osem Company, against the background of the company's intention to close units and factories and transfer operations abroad.
In a letter to company officials, the acting chairman of the Food and Pharmaceutical Workers Union cited, "an overall deterioration in the labor relationship as a result of the trend of closing units/factories and even moving operations abroad; a deadlock in negotiations, and conduct in bad faith in the collective labor relationship."
