The IDF Spokesman gave the name of the regular army man, the late 1st sergeant Avishai Biton, who served in the military rabbinate, 39, from the community of Avivim killed this morning in a traffic accident in the north of the country.
The funeral of Senior Sergeant Avishai Biton will be held tonight at 6 PM in the Meron Cemetery.
Senior Sergeant Avishai Biton was promoted posthumously from the rank of Advanced Sergeant to Senior Sergeant.
