In a post on Twitter, the Likud Party responded to MK Lapids attack writing:
"Yair Lapid, the prime ministerial candidate in the ridiculous rotation with Gantz, dares to criticize Prime Minister Netanyahu for preventing two Congress members hating Israel from entering the country. What a hypocrisy. After all, members of Lapid's party have signed a petition to prevent Presidential candidate Donald Trump from entering Israel. Why did Lapid not tweet then?"
