Transport Minister Bezalel Smotrich (Yemina) responded to the ruling that confirmed the allowance of a gender-segregated event for Haredim in Afula.
"When you need to organize, you organize. Thank you to Justice Ataf Eilabuni. This time justice and common sense prevailed. Congratulations to the residents of Afula and the people of Israel," Smotrich wrote on Twitter.
