The Hong Kong Airports Authority is reporting significant disruptions to the city's airport operations following civilian protests against the government.
The Airport Authority also said protesters blocked crossings into the restricted area and prevented people from moving.
The cops used tear gas response against the protesters. According to testimony, several police vehicles blocked protesters in some areas.
