Shas responded to the economic plan presented by Labor-Gesher, "We welcome the fact that more social forces are joining our fight to reduce gaps and for the weaker populations of society."
We hope that Peretz and Levi-Abekasis will step back from the veto imposed on Netanyahu, because real social change is made from the government and not from the opposition benches. This is proof that Shas, over the last four years, has taken care to raise the minimum wage, has established projects in the geographical and social periphery and has worked to promote all disadvantaged groups in Israeli society and to create for them equal opportunities for success. Thus we will continue to do in the next government."
