Chairman Yossi Dagan of the Samarian Regional Council has objected to a report on the stopping of some of the training in the Judea-Samaria Division of the Israel Defense Forces for budgetary reasons.
Dagan said, "The horrific terror attack in which Dvir Sorek was murdered on the eve of Tisha B'Av joins a series of terror attacks that have been increasing in the last two years in Judea and Samaria, and instead of an increase in the workforce [and] investment in security components being seen, we see that there are those who think that the residents of Judea and Samaria are apparently second class, and it's possible to let terrorists continue to attack and cuts to continue.
